Noah Webster's Bible 1833
25:1 | Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, |
25:2 | Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places. |
25:3 | Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise? |
25:4 | How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman? |
25:5 | Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; and the stars are not pure in his sight. |
25:6 | How much less man, that is a worm; and the son of man, who is a worm? |
Noah Webster's Bible 1833
While Noah Webster, just a few years after producing his famous Dictionary of the English Language, produced his own modern translation of the English Bible in 1833; the public remained too loyal to the King James Version for Webster’s version to have much impact.
